Trips and Tours

Explore with Shawnee Parks & Recreation and Shawnee Mission Trips! All trips depart from and return to the Shawnee Civic Centre, 13817 Johnson Drive. Each trip has its own individual registration and cancellation deadline. All trips must meet the minimum enrollment by the registration deadline, although many fill up prior to this date. If space remains, additional registrations may be taken until the trip is full. Cancellations will be accommodated as available. Many trips have deposits and deadlines that cannot be refunded. In the event that you need to cancel, we will make every attempt to issue any refunds that may still be available.

Disney 100 (November 6)
The Disney 100 Exhibit is only available for a limited time at Union Station! With over  250 artifcations from the Walt Disney Archives, we are in for a real treat! After the exhibit we will check out Crown Center for lunch (on your own) and shopping. Before heading back let's check out the treasures at the Hallmart Museum!

Holiday Lights Tour (December 3)
The Christmas tunes will be rockin, the bus will be rollin, and the lights will be twinkling! We will visit Crown Center, The Country Club Plaza, Christmas in the Park at Longview Lake, The Magic Tree, and Deanna Rose Farmstead, all from the comfort of our motorcoach! The motorcoach has a restroom and we will take a mid-tour break at Quicktrip.

Merry & Bright: Branson (December 10-12)
Celebrate the holidays, Branson style! This trip includes transportation and lodging for 3 days and 2 nights at the Lodge of the Ozarks, luggage handling, seven meals, four shows, and two tours! Shows include: The Branson Belle, Branson Murder Mystery, Christmas Wonderland, and Shanghai Acrobats. Meals include a hot buffet style breakfast at the hotel, the Pickin' Porch at the Branson Craft Mall, Mel's Hard Luck Diner, and Fall Creek Steak and Catfish House. Explore Talking Rocks Cavern and the Wax Museum for a vacation that is one for the record books!
